The Room
The main appeal for this resort were the size of the units. Along with the bedrooms you get a dinning room, lounge, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. The kitchen meant savings on the food bill with a local supermarket a short walk around the corner.
The Shuttle Bus
The resort had a free shuttle service to both Disney and Universal as well as all the other major attractions. The shuttle to the Disney parks is actually a luxury coach. The pick up and drop off was at the same bus bay at the Epcot transportation hub where you then caught one of the free Disney buses to anyone of the other Disney Parks. The following is the bus time table for the period of our stay
Departures
Universal Studios 7:30, 9:00, 10:55AM & 12:10 PM
Wet N Wild 10:55 AM (On Universal Shuttle)
SeaWorld, Aquatica 9:00 AM
Epcot (Walt Disney World) 8:10 AM & 10:45 AM
Return
Universal Studios 4:00 PM, 7:10 PM & 8:35 PM
Wet 'n Wild 7:00 PM
Aquatica 5:25 PM
SeaWorld 5:35 PM
Epcot (Walt Disney World) 6:15 PM, 8:30 PM, 9:45 PM
In addition to the shuttle buses The I-Trolley stops just out the front to take you to the shops or factory outlets.
The Staff
Can not speak to highly of the staff. They bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable. Occasionally, being Australians, we would forget to tip. This didn't effect the quality of service provided. One example is when I forgot to book a spot on the shuttle bus service and all the spots got taken. After calling the desk I went down to plead for a spot so as not to get lynched by the family. By the time I got there the Concierge had planned all the local bus routes to get to the park and arranged vouchers. But before ringing me with this information he was advised that there may be some canellations. He tracked these people down and got there shuttle bus tickets and kept them for me.
House keeping kept the room spotless and the one small drama we had with the room safe was quickly fixed by maintanence.
